3 Things You Should Do with a Korok

A Totally Serious Ryogle Guide

So you found a Korok. Congratulations! You solved a puzzle involving rocks, flowers, wind, or something that definitely made you say, “How was I supposed to notice that?”

The Korok pops out, shouts “Yahaha!”, and now just stands there staring at you. Awkward. What now? According to the officially unofficial Ryogle Guide, here are the three correct things you should do.

1. Take the Seed (Obviously)

The Korok gives you a seed. You do not ask questions. You take the seed. This is the way.

Is it gross? Maybe. Is it useful? Eventually. Will you trade hundreds of them to a giant dancing forest creature for bigger pockets? Absolutely.

2. Stare at the Korok Until It Gets Weird

After giving you the seed, the Korok does nothing. It just… exists.

This is your moment. Maintain eye contact. Wonder where it came from. Wonder where it will go. Wonder if it is judging your inventory choices. Spoiler: it is.

3. Immediately Forget About It and Chase Something Shiny

A Korok is temporary. A glowing thing in the distance is forever.

You were going somewhere important, but now there is a tower, a shrine, a dragon, or a suspicious pile of rocks five seconds away. The Korok fades into memory, whispering “Yahaha” as you sprint off in the wrong direction.

And that’s it. That’s the Korok lifecycle. Repeat this process approximately 900 times, question your life choices, and enjoy every minute of it.
